I ha.ve just been given an aeonium swartzkopf cutting,which is the best compost to plant it in to get the best results and does it stay in that compost when grown.thankyou regards mr s j watson

A free draining compost so I would suggest a mix of one part loam, one part grit and one part course sand, I would leave in that compost once grown, not hardy so needs to be in a greenhouse or conservatory.
