Sooty mould on citrus is usually caused by a pest such as aphids, scale or mealy bug.
Usually on shiney leaves, the mould will just rub off with your thumb. However, a spray over with diluted fairy liquid washing up liquid and then a wipe off with a cloth will remove it.
