You don't do a lot, really, other than keeping it watered and weeded. Most experts recommend earthing up the stems slightly which encourages more roots and makes the plant more stable, especially if it's a tall variety.
If you are growing just a small block of them, shaking the tassels when they are open will help the pollination of the cobs underneath which means cobs which are properly full of kernels.
