Having planted it in it's optimal and competent setting, water and feed it in accordance with its needs and mutter a few words of encouragement to it now and then. Starting at the George Inn, I took a little ride around your village and most of the hedges there seem to be healthy and well established. I see no way you can accelerate its growth.
