CAN YOU NAME THIS PLANT? WHEN IT IS IN IT'S FULL GLORY, THE LEAVES SPAN OUT TO 12 TO 13 INCHES AND EACH TIP HAS STICKERS ON IT. IF YOU WALK BU IT AND YOU GET TO CLOSE IT CAN STICK YOUR LEG. PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION.

That is a Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta), Diane. It isn't actually a palm, but instead a cycad--a relative of conifers that predates the dinosaurs. The only practical difference from palms is that it only puts on new growth in the late spring, early summer. Those new leaves have to last it as close to a year as possible, or the plant will gradually shrink to death. Very slow growing.
