Hi hope you can advise me.
My cordyline is suddenly looking not too well and is leaning to one side. I feel that it may have rotted. During the summer because I was so please with how well the cuttings I had taken from the main plant were doing I may have over-watered it. It is rather wobbely. Please let me know what you think. Some good news would be nice. Or alternatively some advice.
Thank you
Inaara

Hi Noseypotter
Thanks very much for replying.
Yes I think you are right. I have drained all the water and not watered it for, it must be, 2/3 weeks now. I have felt the earth and although dry on top it is still slightly damp underneath. Maybe there is a chance it may not completely die off.
I did not realise the pot I had put it in has a resevor at the bottom which retains water, although the plant is not sitting in the water, I continued to water it it in hot weather, there was too much water underneath and it was still collecting the water.
The plant is not old or grown enough to get a cutting.
kind regards
Inaarta
