Not sure what you've got in pots there - certainly there's a euonymus on the right, but can't tell what the taller plant behind is (skimmia? Leucothoe?) nor the shorter, small one on the left with variegated leaves. If the larger one is a skimmia or leucothoe, both prefer dampish soil conditions.

As I've said elsewhere, hydrangeas will not do well in full sun, and because of the amount of room they require, you would need a circular bed to be 10 feet across just to give those two enough room, with maybe some groundcover till the hydrangeas mature.

Having said that, Skimmia and euonymus, dear tolerant things, seem quite happy in our dry stuff. Learning that they prefer to be moist is making me feel guilty!

Euonymus isn't that fussed, Steragram - skimmia or Leucothoe, specially Leucothoe, prefers dampish soil.
