Agree, first year cuttings are best overwintered under cover Snoop. Planted out they need lots of time to establish before the winter. When you do plant them next year plant them in a slight depression and fill it in as they become established, so that the crown in about 3 or 4 inches below the surrounding soil level. this protects it if we have a hard winter. What varieties have you got?

Steve were they hardy fuchsias you took cuttings of first of all
Re any fuchsias I want to move this is best done in the early growing season as this can give their feet enough time to settle and grow strong enough to stand the winter.
Personally I would wait and plant out next Late Spring when it warms up.
Good luck.
