A clematis showed growth in March then died off. I lifted it and seeing the root looked healthy I potted and placed in the greenhouse. A month ago it started to sprout and is now 12 inches tall with healthy foliage. Do I winter it in the greenhouse or plant it in the garden .thanks for your advice

In the garden, so start hardening it off now - clematis sometimes do this, disappear. I had one that started regrowing after 4 years of no show, I'd forgotten it was there.
