Is it too early too cut back and move Iris?
Mine have stopped flowering but I would like to cut them back as they are crowding other plants. I would ideally like to move them to the back of a bed and put something smaller at the front.
(I haven't touched them and we have had them for 3 years).
Any advice or suggestions gratefully received!
Thanks

Well I took the bull by the horns and have done mine! I cut them in half to make them fan shaped and moved them to a different area, they are looking good. Most of mine stopped flowering but they are good strong healthy plants so they now have a new position, fingers crossed.

Moon Grower, I actually don't know what type of Iris it is. I inherited it when we bought our house. Its blue! Its a standard size not a dwarf.
