I have just found the most disgusting Sweetcorn cob imaginable!
All the kernels visible through the split husk were grey, swollen and moist and looking like pebbles. At first I thought someone was playing tricks and had pushed numerous small stones in the husk.(Small conker sized)
Looked like a tumour in a brain!
Through it in the rubbish bin but now wondering if I should have burnt it. Didn't take a photo but could retrieve it!

when u say rubbish bin do you mean the compost bin? if it sthe household bin no worries. If in the compost I'd put it in the household one.
