« What went wrong? We watered daily, they were in 18 inches of compost/soil.
Sometimes deciduous trees that flower heavily one year may not do much the next year. Our Laburnum, which is massive, has flowered itself silly this year.Last year only a light amount of blossom. The Hawthorn hardly flowered last year but was loaded this year. They also make seeds too and a right old mess, as they drop all their bits. Unless it rains a bit more, It will not set many berries......less to brush up.
