Are young beetroot leaves also red chard leaves

Answers
Swiss Chard or seakale beet (not the real seakale though which is a brassica) is closely related to beetroot. The beetroot is just the chard with a swollen stem, rather like kohl rabi is a cabbage with a swollen stem. Chard and beet are both beta vulgaris.
Like the 'Bright Lights' variety of chard, the red or rhubarb chard has been selected for its coloured leaves.
