I have a small border about 2ft wide which is against a south facing fence and gets no sun any perennial summer plants that i can plant, thanks

Maybe Penstemon. I have one doing stunningly well, which just gets about an hours sunshine for a short time in the evening, sorry don't know the name. It has been there ages(pinky red). Penstemons are supposed to like sunshine. The ones in the sunny side need a lot of fussing to keep going. All I do with this one is admire it. If you get one that likes where it is planted, cuttings are easy.
