potatoes pentland javlin grown in tubs flowered emptied tub and the potatoes are size of a marble very disapointing where did we go wrong ?good result last year

Possibly you left them to grown for longer last year? They are a 1st early so need about 13 weeks from being planted. Did you give them plenty of water, in tubs potatoes require far more water than they do in the ground.
