Last year's wallflowers are lovely bushy plants. Will they flower next spring or should I discard them which seems a pity.

Hi, welcome to GoY, wallflowers used to be called Cheiranthus cheiri, they have been reclassified into the genus Erysimum, becoming Erysimum cheiri, they're a short lived perennial, usually grown as a biennial, they should flower ok next year, but after that, they may start to deteriorate, you would be very lucky to get more than about 4 years from them, Derek.

They should be ok for a display next year, and when they have finished flowering, take some cuttings from them.they root quite easily.I have kept mine going for a number of years now..
