Hi, would the branches off a Hazel tree be safe to use as perches for my parrot, or are they toxic?

Assuming the tree hasn't been sprayed with anything then they will be perfectly safe. Hazel is non-toxic and indeed the leaves used to be used to make a kind of tea.
