how do u know when a cuecumber is ready to pick?
and why does the flower on a cuecumber die off then the cumber looks like its another brantch is this normal ?

Answers
Don't leave the cucumber until it starts to turn yellow otherwise it will be past its best. Just experiment a little with your picking until you find the taste which best suits you. After all gherkins are just tiny cucumbers picked when they are really tiny.
