do roses change colour last year they were really pale pink this time they are a really bright pink what has happened to them thank you

Probably one of David Austen's new hybrids - I've experienced colour change on quite a few of their roses, from peach to pink, from pink to dark pink, etc. Seems they don't hold the genetic information too well.
