We have had a beautiful fragrant red standard rose for 6 years but this year it has turned completely white and has only moderat fragrance. Why?

I suspect that the grafted variety that you have enjoyed for 6 years has either died off or been pruned away and the rootstock rose that it was grafted onto has taken over. There should be a lump at the top of the tall stem where the variety was grafted on. If there are no red rose stems at all then you have probably lost the top, sorry.
