i have an acer in my garden it has been there about 10years in the last 3years all the new growth has had green leaves could you tell me what to do sorry i do not no what thay call it

I am assuming this is one of the Japanese acers. If so it will almost certainly have been grafted. What you are getting will be growth from below the graft which will be the original rootstock. If you could put up a photo it would be easier to confirm this.
