my new frans fontaine trees which have only been planted about three weeks ago have yellow leaves already, teh weather has been wuite warm could this be the problem?

I believe that you have been having the same drought and drying winds as the rest of us, Guest? If so, then the trees have not been given enough water. You can hardly give newly planted trees too much to get them through this weather.
