Unlike the rosebay willow herb I have not found this to be such a pest. it is easily pulled out.

Yes, it's Greater Willowherb or Hairy Willowherb our largest native species. Another local name is Codlins and cream.......don't know what Codlins are Lol

I googled Codlins and cream and found references to this plant/weed.
I googled "codlins" and came up with this:
Main Entry: 2cod·ling
Pronunciation: \ˈkäd-liŋ\
Variant(s): or cod·lin \-lən\
Function: noun
Etymology: alteration of Middle English querdlyng
Date: 15th century
: a small immature apple; also : any of several elongated greenish English cooking apples
