I have a small purple acer tree, about 5 years old, in a large pot. Every year it comes into leaf and looks beautiful for 2-3 months. However, as always, the leaves are now going dry and crispy all over. It is not underwatered nor in too sunny a spot. Any ideas???

Is it sheltered from wind? That's the other usual cause of leaves shrivelling up.
