Hello everyone, Imy Lily's have flowered for the first time this year and I think I read somewhere that you should cut faded flowers in the same way as roses. and that would make them produce more flowers?! Is this true or is there something else I should do?

Sorry, no. Lilies only produce one set of flowers. You can remove the stamen and anthers from the centre of the flowers and then the flowers last a lot longer. The pollen stains so take care and it is deadly poison to cats. I have just been round and done this to all the newly opened flowers in our garden. Finished flowers may be removed to stop seed production which the plant does not really need to do.
