We have a "hump-back" Umbrella Plant. It is very crooked. Can we take this down to a stump and expect it to grow back?

There are several plants called 'umbrella plant'. Usually it is Schefflera arboricola. Yes you can restore growth by cutting it right back. I would personally wait until March to maximise day light and heat before doing so.

In the meantime, make sure that it is getting enough light and fertilizer, to maximise plant vigor.

How do I say thanks?
