I have two rhododendrons, side by side, one flowers every year and the other doesnt. I have had them for about 4years. Can anybody tell me why?

Hi Rosemont,
Do you know what varieties your plants are? Rhododendrons can take very variable lengths of time to flower, some will flower from the earliest age - 2 years or so from seed or grafting - whilst others take as much as 25 years to start flowering. Assuming that your two plants are receiving roughly identical treatment and have similar access to light, water etc., then it's possible that that one is not yet old enough to set flower buds.
