Hi all & a Happy New Year.
I have recently brought purple tomato seeds from the web & was wondering has anyone growen theses & are they tasty (I personley dont eat toms but wife does)

I bought a grafted one last year to try it. They tasted alright and were very firm. It was ages before I could be sure they were ripe - you have to wait for the bottom part to turn orange-ish. It set a lot of fruit but prbably because I didn't water it enough the fruit didn't get very big. Thay get rave reviews but I shan't bother agiain. Let us know how you go on.
