Please could anyone tell me what the plant at the front of the photograph with the pink flowers is? It's my Grandfather's 77th birthday soon and he mentioned that he'd love another plant like this but nobody in the family knows what it is. I have no knowledge of gardening but even experienced gardeners seem stumped by it. I would be so grateful if anyone could tell me what the plant is because if I can find one, my Grandfather will be absolutely thrilled.

Thank you in advance

Thank you so much for the replies. I'd actually booked a trip to visit Forde Abbey yesterday so managed to buy a beautiful Verbena bonariensis from their nursery. I gave it as an early birthday present and my Grandfather was over the moon. Thank you so much - I would never have found the plant without the name.
