My roma tomatoes are getting developed and they are getting rotten spots on the bottoms, what is causing this? Everything I do is in pots, I live in a condo, what can I do to make them all be healthier?

its called ' blossom end rot' caused usually by uneven watering , if the plant dries out or gets so hot it can't get enough water up quickly enough then this happens ( something to do with concentrations or lack of nutrients being taken up by the plant -- not sure about the science involved)
can you shade them or stand them on gravel trays so that they can take water when they need it
