my Pieris suddenly startedgetting brown points on its leaves and the plant looks generally unhappy .Please help.i don't have a photo to hand.Eve.
My Pieris is 21 years old and is in a pot.The brown tips on the leaves started to show last September before any frost.Does this much loved plant need some special food?

Is it in a pot or in the ground? Do you know which variety it is, and how long have you had it?

Both mine have some frost damage this year,Eve,and they are well established plants..They should recover ok ,so I wouldn't worry too much. Most years I get some frost damage or from cold winds, which also affects some of the newly emerging red foliage in spring..but they are hardy ,and always bounce back..good luck..

Welcome to GoY, Eve.
How old is the plant? A young plant might be a bit tender and have felt the recent freezing weather and it should recover, with a bit of tlc when the weather gets warmer.
