Bought a pink rhododendron last year - in full bloom at the time. It seemed to servive the severe winter ( in a large pot) and grew healthy green leaves. However the buds were very late and didn't develop fully. They are now splitting at the top. Any ideas?

Is the pot in semi-shade, are you watering enough? If it is in the pot you bought it in it probably needs feeding.
