Every time i plant cabbage type seeds they grow to about 40mm high get their second set of leaves then start to wilt.
Bought new compost same ! cleaned the pots same ! BUT the tomato plants in the same situation do not die ! Any Ideas ?

I have grown cabbage etc for 40 years for our allotment and never had this problem. Just bought some new compost and will try again with new seed.

This has happened all last year in the cold frame in the back garden and now this year in the house - had to buy in plants for the allotment as they would not grow.
They are at this time in the attic room under the skylight which has central heating.
