my plant has quite a long stem and big savoy cabbage like leaves,light green in colour,the flowerhead droops over,flowers white petals then the head straightens up and has some sort of ball on top with seeds in what could it be?thankyou

Any chance of a photograph? Only thing that comes to mind at the moment is Echinops or Eryngium, if the "seed balls" on top are bluish in colour.
