Hi everyone hope you are all well and keeping warm and cosy in this cold weather wont be long now till we are all working hard again in our gardens and enjoying the wonder of nature taking over to transform the garden again,was wondering if anyone can identify this spruce tree that I have come across growing in a local park would just love to own one just like it,I fell in love the moment my eyes were drawn to its beautiful foliage,would appreciate any information anyone may have Thanks xx

It isn't a spruce or a spruce look- alike, the name is on the tip of my tongue - just can't spit it out!

It looks like Cryptomeria japonica elegans.

Okay brain woke up... Cryptomeria japonica the one in the photo is possibly C. japonica sekkan sugi which is a bit big for your average garden but there are smaller cultivars - just Google.
