My anthurium andreanus is developing brown spots (dry) on the leaves. Reason please. I am cutting leaves where the spots appear but the problem is worsening.

Hi, welcome to GoY, could you post a photograph of the plant ?, brown spots on the leaves of these can be caused by leaving water droplets on the leaves, which causes a fungal infection, that needs treating with a fungicide, also if the conditions are not right, you can get all sorts of problems.
Anthurium andraeanum needs a minimum of 4 hours bright light each day, but not direct sunlight, keep them moist in spring, summer, and autumn, but keep slightly drier in winter, they need high humidity, and a minimum overnight temperature of 65-70f, and 75-80 in the daytime, feed every 2 weeks spring and summer, with a high phosphorous liquid fertilizer at half strength, Derek.
