Previous question
« Hi everyone! My question is: I have grown old fashioned marigolds 'Calendula'...
Next question
Has there been an a dog using this area to wee? That would kill the grass, and the dry weather could cause the cracks
If not, it's possible that there's something solid underneath, so that the roots of the grass there are shallow. The dry weather means that the roots haven't had enough moisture to survive. You may have to dig down and find out what's there - but try hammering a sharp stake in first - see if it hits anything.
Two theories to ponder on!
