Can someone please help to identify the mystery bulbs we have in our garden. We moved here 10 + years ago & theses bulbs were in a flower bed. They grow thick leaves in the spring which then blackens on the tips & never flower! We are reluctant to throw them out as they may thrive in a different environment. We have tried moving them to a different flower bed, but the same thing happened. I have hopefully added a photo. Thanks

Plant with the bulb about a third showing above the soil, as said in a South facing border with well drained soil. The damage there to me looks like frost burn.

Looks like Nerine bulbs. They should flower bright pink from Sept-Nov though you also more rarely get white and reddish ones.
Full sun next to a sunny south facing wall and they should flower.
