I HAVE AN ESTABLISHED HYDRANGEA BUSH WHICH HAS LEAVES WILTING AND SHRIVELLING UP , I HAVE BEEN WATERING IT EVEN MORE SINCE THE LEAVES STARTED TO DIE BUT NOW THE STEMS HAVE A WHITE SUBSTANCE BLEEDING FROM THEM WITH ALL THE STEMS NOW COVERED IN WHITE SUBSTANCE . I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE AND OTHER HYDRANGES S IN THE GARDEN DO NOT SHOWN ANY SIMILAR PROBLEMS . ANY CLUES AS TO WHAT MIGHT BE WRONG .

Next question
Difficult to say from your description - apart from the "white substance bleeding", you could be describing a severe case of Hydrangea powdery mildew or Hydrangea Scale, or possibly both of these at the same time. Photograph might be useful.
