is there anything I can do to avoid blight on tomatoes and potatoes which I had last year

another question how do farmers with fields of potatoes get over this

Answers

Not really. Blight is an air bourne disease which is usually carried on prevailing winds. Shelter your plants from wind....my greenhouse door now faces east.

It's also been said that spraying a plant with garlic can help fight it too.

There are several potatoes now which are advertised as being blight resistant so have a look at the catalogues.
