You let the leaves die back naturally and you water with half strength liquid tomato feed once a week. Did you cut the leaves off last year or tie them into a knot? I know it looks tidier but the bulb needs the nourishment it receives from the leaves to form the flower bud for the following year, no leaves, no flowers.
