I wouldn't recommend it - Flower Power is good for flowering plants, and the last thing you want is for bamboo to flower - it usually dies after flowering, so I wouldn't be giving it any encouragement in that department. Use a balanced fertiliser such as Growmore granules (7-7-7 NPK) instead.

Male pee is actually good for Bamboo, dilute with water. Chicken pellets, again diluted in water, also works a treat.

Botanic's point about male pee may need a little explanation - its full of nitrogen, particularly the first one produced in the morning after a night's sleep. Very good on compost heaps.
