chrysanthemums are the topic for today
i had a lovely show last year, they really made me proud, but i have too many in one area, so i have offered to give 3 of the plants to a neighbour who admired them so much, now she has no soil to plant them in so i suggested pots ( large ones ) and the question is, has anyone got any advice on the best way to do it, what size pots, when to up root them, how best to keep them loking good in a pot, any advice is gratefully recieved as i would love them to look nice in here garden. heres hoping

depends on how big the plants are as to the size of the pot. I have some in growth now that are about 4" in diameter and they are in about a 12" diam pot. They are growing in multipurpose compost that I have added vermiculite and slow release fertiliser to. Keep well watered.
