does anybody know how to care for a 'pineapple plant' do they have any special requirements. I have had this one for two years and over-winter it in the greenhouse, it is thriving well but I'm not quite sure how to deal with it.

Eucomis. Fertilize once a month, water regularly and enjoy. If after the foliage dies back and part of the bulb is exposed, cover with dirt or the snails will attack. Dividing is tricky. I waited for 2 years after getting new shoots because the new bulbs were too connected to the main bulb to divide. They do best in the sun - in the shade the flowering stem gets too long and it flops over.
