Hi had very poor results from my small veg garden, leaving out pots this year to let ground recover. Have tested soil with a test kit and results were negative on all tests just wondering what to add to bring it back to what it was in previous years tia

I always put most of the stuff that is in my composter...rotted or not on the veggie patch in autumn.....dig it well in and let winter do the rest...about a month ago I dug it over again and there were worms galore....now I´m hoping for some super veggies this year.....btw the spuds are already in.

Next question
lots and lots of good organic matter, compost, well rotted manure, spent mushroom compost... anything that will add nutriment to the soil.
