Hello....first time here. I have noticed little mounds of fine soil with a hole the width of a pencil in the centre. Theses are on the lawn at the edge of the shed. Looks like something has burrowed out of the lawn. Does anyone know what they might be? Thank you

I agree with Owdboggy, mining bees make these holes every year at this time in the dry, stony soil around the edges of my lawns and borders.
