This plant was in a bouquet I was given for my birthday last October. It had started to form roots when I came to throw the rest away so I left these two in a vase of water. They are still going. Could anyone tell me what they are called. Thankyou.

It's a Dracaena, possibly deremensis or warneckii

Agree with badfish, definitely Dracaena, a houseplant that does not appreciate sunlight and does not like to dry out completely. Whether its Dracaena sanderiana, height 2-3 feet (once in a pot and full grown), width only about 1-1.5 feet, or Dracaena deremensis, I'm not 100% certain.

glad you were given the correct name,H.bird..when I looked at your photo again,I agree..it doesn't seem to have the trailing habit of Tradescantia..Nice to get some you can keep from your Bouquet..always an extra bonus :o)

sadly mine didn't root. Morrisons use it a lot in their bunches.
