I have a alocasia Persian palm, it was my mothers she cut the top leaves off and brought it inside for the winter and left it in the pot. She passed on and I brought it home and I am not sure from what I read that it will grow again. it was in the spare bedroom with low light and I did not water it until yesterday. Can anyone let me know if it will grow or should I thro it out?

Put it somewhere warm (80-90F is best) and water it. Somewhere sunny would be best but it will re-shoot in darkness as it is responding to the heat and damp. It should regrow fairly quickly.
