My little dog has made such a mess of our grass,its all burnt patches.I am going to reseed it.Do you put compost on the patches before you put the seed down and do you cover it with compost?

You will also need to keep your dog off the grass or accept it is always going to have burnt patches.

I agree with mg build a dog run for its toilet needs with a drain away .

Make sure you wash away all the dog pee first. Use a garden hose or wait for a good soaking rain. Compost depends on the quality of your soil.
