Has anyone dared to direct sow there annuals yet.
The weather is so hit and miss at the moment, just this evening we have been warned of the likely hood of frost.
No bedding plants either have gone into there final bed.

Frost here I think this morning, sowing shouldn't be problem, I hsve seedlings in the cold gh
but I don't put anything tender out permanently until june.....be sure to harden things off even then

I sowed quite a few a week ago, nothing through yet though.

I sowed annual poppies, calendula and nasturtiums a couple of weeks ago, the poppies are through, no sign of the others yet.

Yes we get a very light frost but it's rare. We have a short growing season so I take my chances.

Thanks every one for the info.
I think I will have to take a chance, if I don't it will be a very short flower season.
Heavy rain forecast for tomorrow, best leave the sowing for another few days
